We are excited to continue serving you!

With health and safety as a top priority for our guests and team members, Frisch’s Big Boy will stagger the reopening of its restaurant dining rooms in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. When you visit our dining rooms you will notice some changes, as we will be implementing a new fast-casual dining model, and have removed tables and chairs to allow for social distancing while enjoying your Frisch’s Big Boy favorites. As your local dining room reopens, we will be making announcements on both social media and on our website (link below).

Frisch’s Reopening

March 16, 2020

Dear Guest,

As you know, Gov. Mike DeWine and Gov. Beshear have ordered all restaurants in the state of Ohio and commonwealth of Kentucky, respectively, closed effectively. We fully support their decision to maintain the safety of our guests and team members.

To ensure food service and options for our communities, we will be able to continue to offer carry-out, drive-thru service and home delivery for all items on our menu per the mandate.

Frisch’s Big Boy is a partner with most delivery services. Please visit our website to order your next meal to go or to be delivered.

We thank you for your continued support of Frisch’s Big Boy and its loyal team members at this time.

Dear Guest,

Today, Gov. Mike DeWine ordered that all restaurants close at 9 p.m. with an indefinite timeframe to reopen and we will respect this mandate at all of our restaurants in Ohio,

To ensure food service and options for our communities, we will be able to continue to offer carry-out, drive-thru service and home delivery for all items on our menu per the mandate.

Additionally, we are working with the state of Ohio to ensure our team members continue to receive financial benefits during this unprecedented time. We are committed to our team members and how we support them.

A Message to Our Frisch’s Family,

For more than 70 years, Frisch’s has lived by core values established by our Founder, David Frisch to “support our community and family.” These values guide us as we face the tough challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Our hearts go out to those who have been affected – and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local community and government who are working to contain this coronavirus.

We want you to know that the highest priority at Frisch’s is the safety and well-being of our guests, team members and the communities we serve. Nothing will ever be more important. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, while taking immediate precautions to ensure a healthy experience in our restaurants.

We have taken increased measures in food compliance beyond the CDC and Board of Health sanitary recommendations in all of our personnel and food safety measures. We have always followed these guidelines and are stepping it up as extra precaution.

  • We are communicating frequently to all of our field leadership teams to ensure they have the support and resources they need, while sharing guidance provided by the CDC, all local and state public health authorities.
  • All team members have been trained and guided by the current CDC protocol.
  • Enhanced daily cleaning and sanitation efforts are being conducted in every restaurant, above and beyond our regular cleaning and sanitation standards. This includes more frequent cleaning and sanitization of high-touch surfaces in all guest and culinary areas.
  • Additional hand sanitizer stations have been placed in all locations.
  • Menus are being cleaned and sanitized after each use.
  • All condiments and self-serve items have been removed from our tables and counter-tops, while being cleaned and sanitized after each use.
  • Social distancing is being executed with new seating procedures in our restaurants.
  • All buffets are being served differently. Guests will now select what food items they want from the bar and a server will bring their food to them. They can still enjoy unlimited servings.
  • Late Night Hours at participating locations have been adjusted.
  • Bags are being sealed for all third-party delivery orders.
  • Potential sick employees are being prevented from working.
  • Providing the safest experience is a team effort – and we’re encouraging both team members and guests to follow all precautions indicated by the CDC, including washing your hands before eating, avoid touching your face and covering your mouth when coughing.

We have taken early and intense action to ensure our guests are confident when ordering dine-in, carryout – or third-party delivery at Frisch’s. Our teams are responding with great speed and leadership – and we will continue to be vigilant in providing a best-in-class hospitality in our restaurants.

We’re always here for you – and look forward to seeing you at your favorite Frisch’s Big Boy.
